Ulrich Roth (born December 18, 1954 in Düsseldorf, Germany), also known as Uli Jon Roth, is a German virtuoso guitarist. In the 1970s he was the lead guitarist and one of the main songwriters for the rock band Scorpions in which time they debuted five albums, including Tokyo Tapes, which sold almost one million copies. When he left Scorpions in 1978, he formed his own band named Electric Sun with which he debuted three albums including Earthquake in 1978, Fire Wind in 1980 and Beyond the Astral Skies in 1984. As Uli states in the liner notes, he took the liberty of assigning titles to the different movements of the seasons and in many cases, he quietly utters a few words between movements to prepare the listener for the next one.
Uli is far from finished with an intensity of brilliant guitar as he moves into the Autumn season barely slowing down after the uplifting performance of the Summer.
Here Uli is in full flight on the Sky Guitar as the notes come raining down in a torrent that repeats over and over again ever ascending to a higher level of exhilaration until he moves into the next movement entitled Heart of Chopin that ends in a melody that brought tears to my eyes.

MF left COMBO COLOSSALE and, together with hanovarian musicians ZENO ROTH and ULE W., he recorded a legendary demo-tape which in the end was leading to one of the biggest record deals for a newcomer-band during the last 30 years.
During formentioned demo-session ULI JON ROTH, former leadguitarrist in SCORPIONS, became aware of MF.
In 2001 MF participated on the ULI JON ROTH Europian tour, due to separate obligations only in Germany, Berlin, Bochum, Hannover, Detmold.
