Una Mary Ross, 26th Baroness de Ross (née Dawson) (born 1879, died 1956) succeeded her mother to the title in 1943. She was the daughter of Anthony Dawson, 3rd Earl of Dartrey and Mary Dawson, who held the barony in her own right. 1879 (MDCCCLXXIX) was a common year starting on Wednesday (see link for calendar). ... 1956 (MCMLVI) was a leap year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar. ...
