Unnamed Conservation Park is a reserve in South Australia (Australia) in the southern Great Victoria Desert and northern Nullarbor Plains, close to Maralinga and 450 km northwest of Ceduna. It is one of twelve United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World BiosphereReserves [1] (http://www.deh.gov.au/parks/biosphere/) in Australia and contains arid zone wilderness and possesses cultural significance. The park is managed jointly by the traditional owners (the Maralinga Tjarutja Community) and the South Australian Department for Environment and Heritage (DEH). The park may only be visited by those who have obtained the minimum impact code and can demonstrate experience using that code. Permits are required to travel to the park and will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrange.
