Vale Park is the home of the English Football League club, Port Vale. It is situated in the Burslem district of Stoke-on-Trent. Port Vale bears the distinction of being the only team in the English Football League that is not named after a place. (It should be noted that Arsenal Football Club, playing in North London, was originally Woolwich Arsenal, who played in South London).
