Vale Royal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (204 words)
Vale Royal is a local government district and borough in Cheshire, North West England.
It takes its name from Vale Royal Abbey, formerly one of the largest in England, which was situated near the village of Whitegate.
Although the Abbey no longer exists, the house built on the site is still known as Vale Royal and is now a golf club and apartments.
