Vallentuna is a Municipality in Stockholm County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 359.7 km˛. Of the total population of 25228, 12600 are male, and 12628 are female. The population density of the community is 70 inhabitants per km˛.
Today it is the largest municipality of Sweden, with a population of 776,000, while the populations of the Stockholm urban area and Metropolitan Stockholm are roughly 1.2 and 1.9 million, respectively.
