VanessaOlivarez, who was a contestant on "American Idol" along with Corey Clark, says she finds it difficult to believe that he and judge Paula Abdul ever had an affair.
Olivarez told AM that while she didn't have a lot of time to get to know Clark, because she was the first of the final 12 to be voted off, the time she did spend with him was long enough for her to form an impression.
Olivarez says she finds that difficult to believe and notes that it would have been difficult for the pair to have had an affair, considering the tight leash the contestants were kept on.
Olivarez: I had a couple of people say, "You know, I'm really sorry about that." They did try to fix it, but I think by that point, it was just too late.
Olivarez: I was downstairs with the security guard for about 30 minutes, and then I went upstairs to my room and had another margarita.
Olivarez: I think all of the contestants are great in different ways, but I love Ruben's voice.
