Viacheslav Dinerchtein is among the prominent violists of the new generation, and an active promoter of little-known viola repertoire. Born in Minsk, he immigrated to Mexico in 1991, where he began an array of different musical activities. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestra as well as in recitals throughout Mexico, USA and Canada, having performed at Carnegie Hall (New York), Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), and Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City) amongst others.
