Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 825 people, 302 households, and 224 families residing in the city. The population density is 185.2/km˛ (479.0/mi˛). There are 325 housing units at an average density of 73.0/km˛ (188.7/mi˛). The racial makeup of the city is 98.91% White, 0.12% African American, 0.48% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.48% from two or more races. 0.36% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
