Vinica (Macedonian:Ð'иница) is a municipality in eastern Republic of Macedonia.
Vinica is also the name of the town where the municipal seat is found.
By the 2003 territorial division of Macedonia, the rural Blatec municipality was attached to Vinica municipality.

On the other hand, in Vinica there is a legend that claims that the Škojo clan inhabited the area around Buško Blato and it's surroundings prior to the arrival of the Turks.
The Turks conquered Bosnia and Hercegovina in the late 15th century, but the exact date of their arrival in Vinica is not known for certain.
Today, the Škojo families from the Vinica hamlet Jurčevići (Podjagnjik) are the direct descendents of the Bandur.
