The nordic houses become Ciociaria countryside cottages. In '70s he is invited to Jugoslavia, guest of the State Artist Colony in Pocitelij. There he discovers the freshness of the oriental archaic culture. He begins to paint outdoors again, the style become less "harsh", the Bosnian mounatins become "rounded" and the shadows are softly superimposed. He discovers a lumiosity lost in his years of travelling.
