Volosovo (Russian: Волосово) is a city near St.Petersburg, situated in Leningrad Oblast in the Northwestern Federal District of Russia. Officially it was founded in 1927 but before there existed houses of some rich men. During the communist period it was a powerful industrial town. In 1999 Volosovo acquired the title of City.
