In Australia the song was released without the promotion of the new band member Natalie Bassingthwaighte because they wanted to release it knowing that people were buying it because they liked the song instead of buying it for 'celebrity value' (Bassingthwaite was starring in Neighbours at the time of the single's release)[1]It made its début on the ARIA Charts at number twenty making the Rogue Trader's second top twenty single. After three weeks at being in the charts the single made its way into the top ten at number nine and then after eight weeks of being in the top ten it peaked at its peak position in Australia at number four. It then fell down the chart from then on making one rise and it spent a total of twenty-one weeks in the charts and was certified platinum by ARIA.
