History

The station first took to the air as WADN in 1989 with a folk music format. The format was relocated to weekends at the end of 1996 in the wake of the previous WBNW dropping business (with such programming beginning to air through 1120 on weekdays at that time) before being cancelled in April 1997. However, the station did not take the WBNW call letters until 1998, when Money Matters Radio, Inc. bought the station. The General Manager of WBNW AM 1120 and The Money Matters Radio Network is the one and only, the superstar, Scottie McCall. Scottie McCall took over operations in February of 2007.
