Background

Born at 20:10 in Chorley, Lancashire, England on October 28, 1947, Parkinson possessed an intuitive grasp of scale and time and developed a fascination with astronomy. Influenced by William Blake, he is an advocate of the balance between reason and intuition. He does not oppose reason, but its tyranny over other human faculties. Between 1963 and 1971, Parkinson performed throughout the UK and Europe in a popular quartet named ‘Just Us’. Known for their distinctive four-part vocal harmony Parkinson was an accomplished guitarist. 1979 he wrote ‘Make Em’ Sweat’ a play exploring institutional racism and sexism within a government Fraud Department. Several theatre groups based in London performed the play throughout the UK during the 1980s. Astrology

In 1980, while researching and practising astrology Berg became acquainted with astrologer Jeff Mayo. Berg, an expert in positional astronomy collaborated with Mayo on several projects while developing 13-zodiac astrology. He published The 13 Signs of the Zodiac in 1995, which sold well in the UK in spite of opposition from orthodox astrology and the media. The 13 Signs of the Zodiac was published in Japan in 1996 and the first edition sold out within days. Throughout the spring, summer and autumn of 1996 Berg appeared each Monday on Fuji Television’s ‘Big Today’ programme networked nationally to an audience of twelve million. 13 Zodiac: Personality was published in July 1996 followed by 13 Zodiac: Love in October 1996. During 1996-97 Berg wrote for every major Japanese magazine and produced a weekly column in the broadsheet newspaper San Kei that he continues to write. Berg has constructed 13-zodiac profiles for most ‘A’ list Japanese celebrities and politicians, including several Prime Ministers and Leaders of the House. He published Voice of the Heaven in 1997. 13 Zodiac Astrology

13-zodiac astrology known as the Bergian system in Japan differs from western astrology mainly in that western astrology uses the fixed zodiac as opposed to the moving zodiac. Because of the gradual tilting of the Earth on its axis, the zodiac appears to be moving at the rate of one degree approximately every seventy-two years. Currently, the movable zodiac is out of alignment with the fixed zodiac by roughly twenty-three degrees, which is almost one whole sign.13-zodiac astrology uses the actual star constellation of the true zodiac, Ophiuchus being the additional sign. In the real zodiac the Sun does not spend equal time in each zodiac sign therefore the sign divisions are unequal. For example, the Sun spends forty-five days in Virgo while only six days in Scorpio. Bergian energy interpretation is an interesting mix of east meets west, fusing together Berg’s own research, Jungian psychology, eastern obsession with minutiae and the ABO blood type. Ophiuchus (IPA: ), sometimes referred to as Serpentarius (IPA: ), both meaning serpent-holder, is one of the 88 constellations, and was also one of the 48 listed by Ptolemy. ... 13 Zodiac underpinning knowledge

Berg argues that the movement of stars, planets, comets and asteroids through space affects the solar magnetic field; this in turn affects the geomagnetic field influencing collective and individual electro/chemical/ biological systems. Human bio-resonant systems are able to tune into particular astro-resonant cycles. When constructing charts Bergian astrology uses dimension z in addition to the x and y coordinates which form the geometric patterns. The z coordinate is allocated an energy value of varying strength. For alternate meanings see star (disambiguation) Hundreds of stars are visible in this image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope of the Sagittarius Star Cloud in the Milky Way Galaxy. ...
