Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 km˛ (0.2 mi˛). 0.6 km˛ (0.2 mi˛) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.


Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 103 people, 45 households, and 27 families residing in the city. The population density is 159.1/km˛ (410.6/mi˛). There are 47 housing units at an average density of 72.6/km˛ (187.4/mi˛). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.


There are 45 households out of which 24.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.9% are married couples living together, 11.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.8% are non-families. 37.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.29 and the average family size is 3.04.


In the city the population is spread out with 23.3% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 19.4% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 23.3% who are 65 years of age or older.
