Schools

There are four elementary schools (kindergarten to fifth grade) in Warren: Central School, Mt. Bethel Road Mt. Horeb School, Mt. Horeb Road Angelo L. Tomaso School, or ALT, located on Washington Valley Road Woodland School, Stirling Road


There is one middle school (grades 6 to 8). Warren Middle School is located on Old Stirling Road.


There is one high school in Warren. Watchung Hills Regional High School (www.whrhs.org) is located on Stirling Road next to Woodland School. Students from Warren and from neighboring towns Watchung, Green Brook, and Long Hill Township attend the school. It houses grades nine through twelve and as of the 2005-2006 school year, there were over 1,900 students attending. Its mascot is the warrior and its school colors are brown and gold. WHRHS is currently under construction, as an addition is being built. The addition will house new classrooms, a new auditorium, and other new facilities. Other parts of the construction include renovation of existing classrooms.


Some of WHRHS's most successful sports teams: Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, Ice Hockey, Boys Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Boys Baseball, and both Boys and Girls Track and Field.
