A scheme to divert the Metropolitan Line's Watford branch to Waford Junction via the disused Croxley Green branch may yet see the return of Tube trains, albeit formed of the Met's surface stock rather than the deep level stock of the Bakerloo Line. This scheme has now been given the go ahead.
