Wednesday Night Baseball is a Major League Baseball oriented television program on ESPN and ESPN2 that usually runs on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. ET, with a doubleheader. It debuted in 1990 when ESPN first acquired MLB rights. Since 2000, Wednesday night baseball doubleheaders usually air at 7 p.m. on ESPN and 10 p.m. on ESPN2, though this can change depending on ESPN's programming schedule. ESPN DayGame is also seen at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN to esentially make Wednesdays a tripleheader with games all day long at 1pm ET and 7pm ET on ESPN and at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Unlike Sunday Night baseball, Wednesday Night baseball is not exclusive. Local sports networks may still air the game.
