Wes Morris is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was originally introduced to the path of evangelism while working for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse International relief under Franklin Graham. He and his wife, Erin Morris, have since traveled to several states in the United States and he has spoken in high schools, churches, and recreational events, in addition to two larger scale crusades in and around Hyderabad, India in January 2003, attended by 15,000 people. In 2005 Wes Morris founded Morris International Ministries. The function of this ministry has been to preach a personal faith in Jesus Christ, in addition to financially assisting partnering ministries in third world countries so that they may distribute bibles, food and other tangible items. On May 22, 2005 Morris Ministries launched an international satellite television broadcast. The initial focus of this weekly broadcast was the twin cities of Hyderabad/Secunderabad, India. These weekly broadcasts currently air in the twin cities area on Sundays at 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

On September 4, 2005 Morris Ministries partnered with the USA based Christian TV channel Faith TV, which broadcasts on the Sky Angel Satellite Network. The Morris Ministries program airs in the United States on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. In addition to the television broadcasts, the Morris Ministries programs can also be heard via radio and internet broadcast on the Michigan based Smile FM radio network on Sunday mornings at 7:30 a.m. In addition to the mainstream mediums of broadcast media, Morris Ministries has also incorporated the use of Podcasting by which a subscriber may download free audio messages to their PC.
