West Brompton is both a London Underground and National Rail station on the West London Line with rail services to Willesden Junction station and Clapham Junction.
The mainline station closed in 1940 after the line sustained bomb damage along with all the other stations on the WLL, but remained open to freight traffic.
There is a partition between platforms 2 and 3, but they are on the same level and it is possible to pass directly between them.
