West Simsbury is a census-designated place located in Hartford County, Connecticut. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,395.

The racial makeup of the CDP is 96.58% White, 0.67% African American, 0.04% Native American, 1.80% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.08% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. 0.54% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
