'Where's Neil When You Need Him?' is a tribute CD to writer Neil Gaiman consisting of seventeen tracks performed by various artists who are fans of Gaiman's work. These songs are based on stories and characters from The Sandman graphic novel series, Neverwhere, Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish, The Goldfish Pool, Wolves in the Walls, Mr. Punch, and the movie MirrorMask. It was released on Dancing Ferret Discs on July 18, 2006. The CD included all new artwork from Dave McKean as well as extensive new liner notes from Neil, and an introduction by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance.
