Madonna contibuted four songs to the soundtrack, continuing her work with Patrick Leonard and Stephen Bray (he also composed the music to the motion picture). Unlike the movie, the Who's That Girl soundtrack became an instant international smash hit, with the title track peaking at number one in the United States, UK, Puerto Rico, among others. The album's second single, "Causing a Commotion," became another top five hit (peaking at #2 in the US). The third song released from the album was the minor hit "The Look of Love" which was release outside of North America and charted in the Top 10 in the UK.
