Wijdemeren (population: 23,333 in 2004) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 76.55 km² (of which 28.53 km² water).

The municipality of Wijdemeren consists the following towns, villages and townships: Ankeveen, Boomhoek, Breukeleveen, 's-Graveland, Kortenhoef, Muyeveld, Nederhorst den Berg, Nieuw-Loosdrecht, Oud-Loosdrecht.
