Paul McCartney - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (6858 words)
The album Ram, also issued in 1971, was credited to both Paul and Linda McCartney, and featured back-up from, for the most part, studio musicians.
The album was an intriguing update of the recording approach he used ten years earlier for his eponymous debut, playing every instrument himself, with an emphasis on synthesisers this time instead of acoustic guitars.
The album was nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
