Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, or simply Wildcat Canyon, is a 2,428 East Bay Regional Parks District park mostly in Richmond, California. Wildcat Creek flows from San Pablo resevoir through the park and the city of Richmond, emptying out into the San Pablo Bay in North Richmond. The far northern portion of the park was originally a private park owned and operated by local residents and later gifted to the city, which in turn provided it to the Parks District. It maintains and operates a system of regional parks which is the largest urban park district in the United States.
Particularly notable are the string of parks along the ridge of the East Bay hills, including Wildcat Canyon Regional Park and Tilden Regional Park, and bay shore parks such as the Point Pinole Regional Shoreline.
