William Astor, 4th Viscount Astor (born 27 December1951) is a British businessman and politician who sits as an elected hereditary peer in the House of Lords. He was educated at Eton, and in 1976 he married Annabel Sheffield, with whom he has two sons and a daughter. William Waldorf Astor, (August 13, 1907 - March 7, 1966), was a businessman and politician and a member of the prominent Astor family.
Known as Bill Astor, he was the son of William Waldorf Astor II, the 2nd ViscountAstor and Nancy Witcher Langhorne.
On his father's passing in 1952, he inherited his title, becoming the 3rd ViscountAstor and took over the Cliveden estate in Buckinghamshire where he and his family continued to live until his passing in 1966.
