Encyclopedia > William Cross Yuille

My name is Slade Yuille of Melbourne Victoria Australia the decendent of William Cross Yuille the Founder and First White Settler and named Ballarat. I am outraged that there is nothing in the history books of Ballarat that tell people that this place was founded by William Cross Yuille and also his Founding of the Australian Race Horse Industry. There should be more information on hand about this wonderful Fore-Father to Ballarat and there should be a main plaque in the Ballarat Central City stating who Founded Ballarat. If anyone out there has any information I would be very interested in obtaining what you have, please feel free to email me: s_yuille@optusnet.com.au
