The Windy City Times is the premier newspaper for the LGBT community in the City of Chicago and Greater Chicagoland in Illinois. Established in 1985 to serve residents of the Boystown subdivision of the Lakeview neighborhood, the publication grew and today offers both print and online editions. The Windy City Media Group, which owns the Windy City Times, also produces the monthly newspaper Identity, the weekly magazine "Nightspots," and the weekly talk show Windy City Radio on WCKG.
