Winner is a city in Tripp County, South Dakota, USA. The population was 3,137 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Tripp CountyGR6. Winner was found to be the exact midpoint between brothers John and Hank Green. The two brothers started a project called Brotherhood 2.0, limiting their communication to non-textual forms, mainly daily YouTube videos. In his August 20th video, John noted the connection to Winner (discovered by YouTuber namlhots), and proposed that the nerdfighters (loosely defined as fans of the 2.0 videos) pool their resources to buy Winner and turn it into a nerdfighter commune.
