The infamous house - - Victoria Road on the boarder between fallowfield and Withington is of note for the sole reason of a house which goes by the number of 23. On the night of the 10 of may 2006 many strange noises were heard coming from the back garden of said house. Neighbours attributed this to the wildly excentric behaviour of some of the residents, the police were not convinced and decided to investigate further. On rading the house the tenants of lord Arif were reported to be furiously hacking away at some "objects" with a mind to burn them. What the objects actually were is pure conjector but three Vietnamese families were found in the basement along with 1 tonne of unrefined heroin. - The residents have since been released on police bail due to diplomatic connections. Although by all accounts these people are to be considered armed and extremely unstable. Withington weekly 10th May 2006 pages 2-3 (local news pubilcation)
