Flexible workweek schedules are any work-schedules significantly outside of a "standard" 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM -6:00 PM 8 hour/day, 40 hour/week work schedule.
Flexible workweeks are not an individual's right; they should offer a positive benefit to the department as well as to the individual requestor and should have a minimal negative impact on departmental and team operations.
The impact of flexible workweek schedules on the department increases with the number of persons on flexible schedules; though there is no specific "cutoff" on the number of requests/requesters, multiple requests will be considered accordingly.
