But the concept of world politics per se is a dynamic concept which goes back to one of the most common definitions of politics, as an art and science of "getting what you want", but this time around, applied in global perspective. There are insinuations that world politics is just applying the precepts of Machiavelli in a global scale.

History have shown the world how world politics had evolved, but at present, there are lots of movements in terms of concepts and warm bodies with regards to world politics, but if we have to allign them to the signs of times, one trend is evolving... the enivitable formation of a global government as propelled by the worldwide web. The WWW today is dominated by the search engines Yahoo,Google and Alta Vista. These three dominant figures in the WWW today direct the internet users all over the world to the websites that are dominating certain movements in world politics. For instance,on these search engines, if you search for the topic of "formation of a global government", which is one of the logical most dominant concepts in the academic topic of world politics, it will lead you to sites that are positively working towards that concept such as The Globalist Manifesto and the Wikipedia. This is the world politics in action in the current times, and not merely an outdated passive academic talking point.
