The Worshipful Company of Founders is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. The Founders, or workers in brass and bronze, were incorporated under a Royal Charter in 1614. However, with the development of technology, the ancient craft grew obsolete. Now, the Company exists, along with a majority of Livery Companies, as a charitable foundation. It also supports the foundry industry by awarding research grants and scholarships.
The Founders' Company ranks thirty-third in the order of precedence of Livery Companies. Its motto is God, The Only Founder.

The WorshipfulCompany of Founders is a City of London Livery Company which began its existence as one of the early medieval "guilds" or associations formed by members of various crafts or trades in the City of London.
The Company manages seven charities, and whilst some funds are available for more general charitable purposes, the bulk of the annual income is spent on educational grants and bursaries, the larger elements being grants relevant to metallurgy and materials engineering.
The Company made a substantial bursary a few years ago to the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers for developing training of ringers in the form of establishing ringing training centres throughout the country, and there are currently 36 established and operating.
The WorshipfulCompany of Haberdashers, number 8 in the order of seniority of the Livery Companies of the City of London, had temporary offices in Bartholomew Close during the building of their new hall in West Smithfield, which has now opened.
The WorshipfulCompany of Butchers, one of the seven oldest of the City of London Livery Companies, continues to be a highly active Company both within the City of London and the meat industry.
The WorshipfulCompany of Farriers is first and foremost a fellowship of men and women who are Free of the Company and the City, and therefore, by definition, Citizens of the City of London, regardless of where they live, and who share a dual interest in the Horse and the City.
