The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. The Company was granted Livery status by the Court of Aldermen in 1992 and currently has over 620 members - all practitioners in the IT profession.
The Company ranks hundredth in the order of precedence for Livery Companies.
The Company's motto is Cito, meaning swiftly. It also incorporates the initials of the Company of Information Technologists.

Roger Graham OBE has been elected the new Master of the WorshipfulCompany of InformationTechnologists (WCIT), one of the newest City of London Livery Companies.
As well as promoting the IT profession the WCIT supports educational and charitable programmes, using the experience, talents and resources of Company members to give something back to disadvantaged groups in society.
The Company currently has over 650 members, all of whom are senior practitioners in the IT profession.
