WowWee Ltd. is a privately held, Hong Kong-based company that was founded in 1988, and started as an independent research & development and manufacturing outfit that was focused on incorporating cutting-edge technology into toys and other entertainment products. As an OEM seller, they produced products like the Power Rangers Power Gloves and Animal Planet Animaltronics (for Toys "R" Us).
