Wuhan University School of Foreign Languages and Literature is one of the earliest school founded in the history of China's Universities. Now the school includes five language study major. They are English, French, German, Russian and Japanese. English major has the most large population, about 450 from Year1 to Year4. French major has a great advantage across the country, with about 100 students in total. German major is also distinguished for every year the graduates have a good career market. This year there is a special class, Year 2003 English major Class5: Monitor Henry , together with Godspeed, Rita, Cherry, Dany, Crystal, Helen, Kaye, Grace, Erin ,Sally, Carol, Edna, Windy, Snow, Amy, Echo, Deborah, Stone, Emily, Maria, Valen, Gary, and A Guo. Helen, Maria and Valen did a great job in their study and they were honored the first level Scholorship. Godspeed's outstanding performance in the football match won him the the title theimage of Wuhan University. Dany and Cherry's leading role in the publishment of the symbol of the school's magazine Tanslation won them the title " Young Scholar". Crystal, the team leader of the debating team, leads the team into the finals. Rita, one of the main member of the Student Union, set a extraodinary example for all the students and she was hornored " the most involved " of the University. Edna, Windy, Snow, Echo, Amy and Deborah won all of them the title" One of the cleanest and the most harmonious Dorm" of the University. Kaye got the second place in the School's singing competition. Grace is titled " the Encourager" in Class. Erin, whose smile always fill joy into others, is hornored the " Smile flower " in the May Festival. Sally , whose figure and beauty both inside and outside won her the title " Miss Beauty" in the school's Beauty competition. Carol, Gary and A Guo won the second place in the Dubbing Competition.
