In 1900, Angelus, Darla, Spike, and Drusilla came to China for the Boxer Rebellion. Xin took on Spike in a Chinese Temple. She scarred him for the rest of his life by cutting him over his left eye with her sword. In the end, Spike won and drained her of her blood, leaving her in the temple to burn. Xin's family got revenge by sending her brothers after Spike and Drusilla. They tracked Spike and his partner Drusilla down in Prague. In Chicago, Illinois, 1933, the avengers of Xin Rong finally caught up with Spike and Dru. They beat and tortured Drusilla so badly she did not recover for 10 years. But the two vampires were ready for them, and with the help of a chaos demon, the Rong family line ended there.
