YaST from SUSE 9.2 Pro

Yet Another Setup Tool (YaST) is an operating system setup and configuration tool that is featured in the SUSE Linux distribution. It is also part of United Linux. AutoYaST allows unattended and automated installation and is based on YaST.


YaST is free software, [1] (http://www.novell.com/news/press/archive/2004/suse_archive/yast.html) and Novell has made YaST available under GPL [2] (http://news.com.com/Novell+extends+open-source+push/2100-7344_3-5210336.html).


YaST2 is a fairly complete and competent tool for administering a SuSE installation. It allows you to install software, configure hardware, setup networks, and servers.
