Encyclopedia > Yaoi games

Yaoi games, also called "boy's love games", usually refer to video or computer games that have a large degree of homosexual pornographic sexual animation or graphics within (see hentai). Most of them involve the player reading the text and selecting options along the way to advance the story. The correct sequence of options will lead to a special ending or full screen CGs with one or more characters in the game.

Yaoi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (635 words)
The word Yaoi (pronounced "Yah-Oh-ee") was originally used to refer to fan manga (such as doujinshi) that focused on homosexual relationships between male characters, especially two bishōnen - the manga equivalent of slash.
The term is often used in a general way to refer to male-male sexual or romantic content anywhere in anime, manga and fan fiction based on these; usually of a more sexually explicit nature than the now-obsolete shōnen-ai.
Yaoi is often thought of as more "story-based" than heterosexual hentai manga or anime; however, a broad spectrum of "intensity" exists in the genre.
