Yeti are an English rock band fronted by John Hassall, formerly of The Libertines. He met former bassist Brendan Kersey, lead guitarist Andy Deian Jung and guitarist Harmony Walliams (real name Mark Underwood) through mutual friends, and the lineup was completed when drummer Graham Blacow responded to a classified ad. Hassall writes most of Yeti's songs, but Walliams has also penned several and sings lead on his own songs. The band plays acoustic driven beat pop with a psychedelic 60's flavour and strong harmonies. Influences include The La's, Bob Dylan, Love, The Doors, The Byrds, and The Beatles. Their debut single Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder was released in March 2005 and reached number 36 in the British charts. Keep Pushin' On was released in August 29th 2005 under Moshi Moshi Records and reached #57.
