Yinsi Aisin-gioro (爱新觉罗·胤禩) was born to Emperor Kangxi and his concubine, Liang Fei of the Wei family, in 1681, and was the Eighth Imperial Prince. After Emperor Yongzheng's succession to the Imperial Throne in 1722, Yinsi was made one of his four chief advisors and was given the peerage title Prince Lian (廉亲王). He died in prison after fighting a battle of succession with Yongzheng and attempting to put Hongshi, Yongzheng's third son, on the throne in place of Hongli.
