West of York Regional Road 38, the road is a two-lanes, rural thoroughfare ending at an intersection with York Regional Road 53. The road is interrupted but re-started at York Regional Road 6 as a two-lanes rural thoroughfare ending again upon York Regional Road 57 due to the historical community of Kleinburg. West of York Regional Road 27, the road restarted its York Regional Road status, ending at the York/Peel Regional Boundary.
- Zonings: The recent urban sprawl had turned some farmlands into residential, commercial, and industrial zonings in Richmond Hill and Markham. However, when the road is running in Vaughan, it is mainly farmland with spits of commercial and residential areas near major intersections.
