The Yotsubashi Line(四つ橋線) is a subway line of the Osaka Municipal Subway system in Japan. In 1942, the section between Daikokucho and Hanazonocho was opened. After World War II, the section from Hanazonocho to Kishinosato and Tamade was opened. In 1965, the section from Daikokucho toNishi-Umeda was opened, and about three years after then, the section from Tamade to Suminoe-koen was opened.
Apart from the seven subwaylines, which cross the city like a grid network, and the new tram serving the waterfront, there are several suburban rail services operating in the metropolitan area, among them the Loop Line (21.7 km) which connects all subwaylines.
It intersects with the subway at Dainichi, Line 2's eastern terminus.
It commences at Imazato (connection to Line 5), and runs north to Midoribashi (for line 4), Shigino (for JR Gakkyu-toshi Line), Gamo-4-chome (for Line 7) and Sekime (for Line 2 and the Keihan Main Line).
