An officer who joined Cao Cao early on in his quest for power (not to be confused with Yu Jin), he was a senior general holding a high rank.


During the battle of Fan Castle against Guan Yu his jelousy for the success of the younger general Pang De meant he called a retreat in the heat of battle, untimatly leading to the armies failure as they were flooded out. He was captured and pleaded for his life, and after imprisonment for a period of time he was released back to Wei. When he returned, in his home he found pictures on his walls detailing his capture (put there by the ruler of Wei, Cao Pi and he died of shame later.
