Zaprešić is a town in Zagreb county, Croatia, population 23,125 (2001). It is located to the west of Zagreb, on the road from that city to the Zagorje region.

The big outlying residential town of Zapresic and its immediate surroundings offer a variety of attractive tourist opportunities (castles, churches, ornithological reserve).
Further to the Sava there is a special ornithological reserve Zapresic - Sava, an important nesting and rest ground for migratory birds.
Zapresic is situated on the regional road, by the railroad Zagreb - Ljubljana.
