Both of them are very worried about their son's social ineptness, and both of them want him to become more sociable. Seitaro Takamine is the one who first saved Zatch in England, while in Japan, Hana Takamine is the one who takes care of both Zatch and Kiyo. Yuuta Akiyama

Yuuta Akiyama (秋山勇太 Akiyama Yūta) is a young boy that Kiyo and Zatch meet at the Mochinoki Hospital. He has broken his leg, and it has taken him an abnormal time to heal. When Kiyo makes a rather insensitive remark regarding this fact, Yuuta gets angry, and decides to take revenge by stealing Zatch's book. Yuuta appears in the sixth episode of the series.

Ponygon, known in Japan as Umagon, is the strange, little, horse-like creature who appears merely as a sort of non sequitur character early on in the series. He appears at odd moments, either aiding Zatch, or by popping up in unexpected places. Later in the series he is revealed to be a mamodo in search for his bookkeeper, and he eventually becomes Zatch's pet much to Kiyo's dismay at times (As Ponygon picks fights with Kiyo sometimes). Ponygon's real name is "Schneider", though no one knows this due to the fact Umagon can't say anything besides his trademark, "Meru-Meru-Mei!" neighing. A non sequitur is a literary device; in comedy (as opposed to in formal logic), it is a comment which, due to its lack of meaning relative to the comment it follows, is absurd to the point of being humorous. ...
