Zero Artistic Movement (ZAM) is an anti-art movement. ZAM was born in Greece during the year 1999 from the nihilist music group of PORNOSTROIKA DADAIFI with the release of LYKANTHROPOS in Lesbos. It was followed from various groups in many cities like Athens, Hrakleio, Mytilene, Chania, Rethymno etc. ZAM is an anti commercial movement with political character. Politically some members of Zam belong to the anarchist movement, some others are communists and some are nihilists. The main inspiration of ZAM is underground Music and literature. Influences of ZAM are the retrofuturism, dada movement, F. Niche, Edgar Allan Poe, Laibach’s NSK, Industrial music, horror cinema, sci fiction literature, cymberpunk, Brecht and many more. The most recently release of ZAM is Cities of the red night from Pornostroika dadaifi (heraklion,2006), sex and zam from yparksistis tou kolou (athens, 2004) and solitary people from solitary people (athens,2004). In an intervew one member of ZAM declared All the cds of the above groups are given free (with no money) to the people, as ZAM is an anti commercial movement with political character. Each time someone is bying a cd, he is been ripped off by the rock industry and the rock artists. We aren't an ordinary rock group so we don't want to steal money from the listeners. We don't want to became famous or rich and we are against the commercial rock music. DEATH TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
