Zomba Music Group was started in 1977 (as ZombaRecords) by Clive Calder as a book publishing venture and moved into the recording business in 1981.
Zomba now groups different labels: Jive Records, Music For Nations Records, Pinacle Records, Rough Trade Records, Silvertone, Verity Records and Volcano Records.
